The Heat of Spring
"The Heat of Spring" was a painting that was born out of my growing relationship to fire. This painting evokes the essence of that fire and it's power. There would be days upon days I would sit out in the beating sun and marvel at how holy it felt to be in the sacred heat of the sun. I could stay there for a while.
This piece welcomes you into your relationship to heat, to fire, to warmth. This is an original piece made with acrylic and oil pastels, varnished with gloss. Holding this artwork in your hands you can feel the depth that not only the colors but the radiance holds. Painted on handmade paper, this piece will call to the person it's ready to exchange with. I'm hoping that it will be you!
